If healthy, it can last for more than two months if we keep it (unopened) in a cool place, at 10-15º C, and dark, without direct exposure to light.
Once the pumpkin has been opened, if it is not going to be used up whole, it should be wrapped well in cling film or in an airtight container and kept in the refrigerator for two or three days.
Some people also freeze it, cut into cubes or portions.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Pumpkin pulp can be consumed either raw, in salads and sandwiches, or cooked, fried, sautéed or au gratin. They can also be prepared stuffed with rice or vegetable-based creams, etc. It can be used as an accompaniment to various stews and vegetable dishes because it softens them and gives them color.
